An unrivalled genius investigator, the identity of the enigmatic "L" was unknown even to members of the upper echelons of the world's government leaders. Widely considered the best detective in the world, he took on the infamous Kira case, which would eventually result in his death. Relentlessly pursuing the killer known as 'Kira', he was known for taking great pains to conceal his identity as well as his fondness for sweets and peculiar way of sitting. Some believe him to be eccentric, given his unusual manner of physically interacting with objects, his loathing of socks and languid body language. His deductive, reasoning and investigative skills are nigh uncanny. Resurrected by OSTA for purposes unknown.
